Renovation of Facades at 19 HaKozeri Street, Tel Aviv-Jaffa
The house of Ali al-Hajj Muhammad al-Mughrabi, located on HaKozeri Street in Jaffa, was erected in 1933 as a two-story residential building with a flat roof and balconies. The building was designed by engineer Abd al-Shakrah for Ali al-Hajj Muhammad al-Mughrabi and his family.
This magnificent and adorned building was constructed in an eclectic architectural style, combining elements of traditional Jaffa architecture with European building traditions.
This is reflected in the design of the central space ("Liwan") on both floors, featuring sloping roofs and decorative elements.
The building is an important part of the city's development history and serves as a last relic of the Jaffa neighborhood that once flourished in the area but was largely destroyed.
